About us
We cook with ingredients from nearby farms: beef soup with noodles, štruklji (rolled dumplings) and seasonal dishes. In summer the terrace under the old linden tree is open, in winter a warm corner by the farmhouse stove.
For groups and celebrations we prepare a menu on request.

Our story
Under the old linden tree since 1987
The inn was opened by grandmother Marija, who started cooking for carters and neighbours at the farmhouse by the linden tree. Her recipes for beef soup, štruklji and gibanica stayed in the family.
Today her grandson Luka cooks. Our meat comes from the Zupan farm above the village, vegetables from nearby gardens and wine from Lower Carniolan cellars. Whatever is in season goes on the daily menu.
